ICT IN EDUCATION

the use of ICT in education has been perceived differently by different teachers. there those who view it as chaos and wastage of time this is because most of the time they use chalk and method in teaching on the other hand there those who perceive it as an important in enhancing teaching and learning. as it help them in preparing there lesson before teaching hence improving their effective in teaching.

    Yes Ismail. But I think is due to ignorance of these teachers. Let us go in our working area and make them aware of importance of using ICT in their daily teaching programs.

    It is my feeling that curriculum for teacher training much be changed to include ICT integration on a serious note. It is not about mentioning ICT integration to teacher trainees as many colleges and universities do,but giving them content that can help them fully integrate ICT in teaching and learning.

    Looking at ICT as a bother is actually concealing a stereotype mind that will lack sufficient exposure worthwhile for development.
